Pregnancy

Being in the only relationship that matters, to the man who fully intends to love her for the rest of his life and never wants her to be in another relationship with anyone else anyhow.

Being Gorgeous

Being my girlfriend

Helping with Hannah

Being Hestia and all that involves

The short lists of things Hestia is NOT good at:
Telling which mug is hers
~~Remembering that she taught her boyfriend how to read strikeouts~~
Flying while drunk
Telling who her boyfriend is when she's tired evidentally

Hestia, if this is about what you said about Teaghan just before you went to your room...there is no yes or answer that CAN work in that situation. The truth of the matter is that Teaghan didn't like my...profession, any better than you did. You two both used your own methods to deal with this horrible thing I've gotten myself into, and neither of you are better or worse than the other, just different. And I love you, Hestia. I love you so much, and I don't want you to think poorly of yourself. I meant what I said when I tried to propose, I'd marry you if we could, but, more than that, WHEN we can I WILL marry you.

Now, honestly, are you telling the truth when you say that you're alright?

I love you Dominic, and I love that you'd sit there and make a list for me when I'm being stupid, and I hate that I was so emotional earlier, but I know my weaknesses. I know I'm horrible at relationships and it's only because of you I'm not failing this time, and pregnancy isn't making me any better at anything. I was never this emotional or insane the last time.

I... I do want to be your wife, for a million stupid reasons, even if I'd be terrible at it ~~and never as good as T~~, but I'm happy being your girlfriend because I love you and you love me and in the end marriage isn't the point, loving each other is. I want our child to not have the stigma of illegitimacy, but I would never, ever risk any of you just to have that change.

Can we just forget earlier?

We can't forget it, not entirely, but we can decide to not focus on it for now. I still want to marry you someday, but you're right, for now we can be content to love one another.

And you're NOT terrible, Hestia, not at anything. You're spontaneous and you put me in line and make me laugh and you're anything but horrible. We can lean on one another from time to time, nothing is wrong with that. Perhaps your relationships before didn't work out because you were meant to be with me. did you think of that? I think that we work well together, Hestia, that THIS works.

You're basically saying that past things happened, like my inability to be in a lasting relationship, because I was meant to be with you. But if you're saying destiny or fate or some meddlesome god meant me to be with you, then you're either saying the same of yourself and I can't accept she died so I could be with you, or you're NOT saying that, in which case what can be implied makes me want to smack you.

So explain it to me.

You're you and not everyone works well with you. I'm sure you had fun with everyone else but I just think we work better than you worked with those other people, the way that some people work better together and others don't. I think we work so well together that the idea of settling down and getting married and doing those ridiculously cheesy things doesn't sound outrageous. Fate or meddlesome gods has nothign to do with it.
